The Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine are pleased to announce that bookings for their 13th Annual Conference in Cardiff are now open!
The conference programme will follow in the coming weeks as their Conference Secretary and Conference Subcommittee finalise all the details. The themes for 2019 will include Miscarriages of Justice and Vulnerable Victims. Currently, our confirmed list of speakers include:
Dr Juliet Cohen, Head of Doctors, Freedom from Torture;
Judge Leslie Cuthbert, Crown Court Recorder, Police Misconduct Panel Chair for the Metropolitan Police and Tribunal Judge of the First Tier Tribunal (Mental Health);
Mr Neil Dalton, Police Misconduct Panel Chair;
Catrin Evans, IOPC Regional Director for Wales;
Dr Peter Green, Consultant Forensic Physician and Designated Doctor for Child Safeguarding, St George’s Hospital, London;
Sally Holland, Children’s Commissioner for Wales;
Professor Tim Thompson, Professor of Applied Biological Anthropology; Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching) School of Science & Engineering, Teesside University.
